The dog's owner wants him back. Yet Marty is determined to find a way to make Shiloh his own. "An ideal movie for parents and children to see together, and talk about afterward," Roger Ebert wrote in the Chicago Sun-Times. The sequel Shiloh 2 Shiloh Season could spark even more discussions. In it, Shiloh's heroism, kindness and forgiveness sets an example for Marty (Zachary Browne). Michael Moriarty and Rod Steiger are among the grown-up stars of these films that know well the special bond that can only come from a special canine friend.

I really loved the movie Shiloh/Shiloh Season. I really enjoyed watching Michael Moriarty in this movie. I also think Scott Wilson was great!
